Dedicated to the practice of Myofascial Release as taught by John F. Barnes, PT, LMT, NCTMB.

At Fascia Healing Works, LLC's "Therapy in the Park", in Orlando, Florida, we are dedicated to helping you live a pain-free life and be as active as you wish.

JFB MFR is often the missing link in work aimed at reducing pain and restoring movement, strength, function and a feeling of well-being.
JFB MFR is very different from the usual practices of massage or mainstream manual therapy in physical therapy.  Most importantly, results are far more permanent.

John Barnes' myofascial release is a wonderful treatment modality for many people and under many circumstances.  Fascia is so overlooked as something to be treated.  Fascia is the substance that binds the whole body together.  What could be more important than that? Recently, an article about the heart had a picture of a heart from which all the cells had been removed.  Only the fascia was left. It still completely had the shape and size of a heart!  Myofascial release works on this structure within all of us.  Most of us only think of the superficial fascia. But fascia interconnects everything down to the cellular level.  Imagine the structure being pinched tight by fascial restriction from injury, surgery or lack of use.  The involved tissue will not fare well.  Myofascial release gradually opens the structure again.  MFR truly is a journey.

NOTE: In order to serve the clients I already have, I am unable to accept  new patients

As your body goes through the decades, taking care of yourself becomes like taking care of an antique car. You have to know much more about how it works. It needs far more tinkering and adjusting.  You need experts to help you with certain aspects. You cannot drive as hard and fast as with a new car. Generally, there is less driving and more tinkering. But you thoroughly enjoy the fact that it is still going! And you keep taking care of it with love and pride. John F. Barnes’ myofascial release (MFR) is one of the most effective tinkering tools for our bodies…
